Albrecht Dürer
Albrecht Dürer (1471–1528) was a painter, etcher, drawer, mathematician and scholar of the history of art. In 1497 he made his first etching followed by the famous etchings »Melencolia«, »Knight, Death and Devil«, »Adam and Eve«, »Hare« and »Squirrel«.
